Thryothorus ludovicianus

Description:

Small bird about the size and general shape of a sparrow. Light brown feathers on the back and wings with white to beige on the chest and lower body. A thin white strip is above the eye. Tail is short.

Habitat:

Was seen in the groundbrush and ferns of a wooded area.

Notes:

Stayed in the brush and out of sight except for a brief foray to a downed tree branch.
