Red Maple

Aceraceae Acer rubrum

Description:

It is about 45ft tall. It was planted and sense it is by itself it grew fast and broader. bark is wrinkley and thin. Leaves turn red and are v shaped lobes and not toothed. about a 1ft and a half in cirumference. i would say 15 years old.

Habitat:

planted at school. flat ground. gets plenty of water.

Welcome to Project Noah! I attended high school in Lebanon, NH, so I know Hartford fairly well. The Upper Valley is such a beautiful place and I look forward to seeing more of your spottings.
