Eretes sticticus was revised by K.B. Miller in 2002. There are now four species in the genus, all very similar. Only Eretes griseus is found in SE-Asia.

It's clearly a water beetle, you can tell by the modified 3th pair of legs. I think it coul be Dytiscidae.
