Sharp Shinned Hawk

Accipiter striatus

Description:

This little hawk showed up here at the house. Come in to attack the smaller birds who hang out here. Hang around the house for a good week or so.

We are the high desert of Oregon. Large farms and ranches give the birds of prey big and small plenty of room to live.

Notes:

Personal Observations. Our town is south of Madras Oregon.
