I saw this quail at Mt Diablo State Park.I feel that it truly represents Mt Diablo because both are Princely and stately and equally hardy and adaptable!Long life to the quail and Mountain.

Callipepla californica is its scientific name, and the feather is a feature of the species. How awesome! :)
