Cosmos bipinnatus

Description:

The cosmos bipinnatus, also known as the garden cosmos, is a medium-sized flowering herbaceous plant. This plant's growth varies from 2-4 ft and appear in shades of pink and purple, as well as white. They attract bees, butterflies, and birds.

Habitat:

Native to Mexico, comos is late-blooming from early summer to mid fall. They are easily grown in well-drained soils in full sun (warm weather).
