Spotting

Description:

Has the look of a rattle snake but does not have a rattle so it can't be. My best guess was a king snake.

Habitat:

This specific snake I found with my brother in a dry area of land near the ocean at the Newport Coast in California.

Notes:

I would guess the snake is about3 to 4 feet long.

Though they are known for being grumpy, they are harmless :)
