Orthetrum caffrum
This dragonfly has a blue abdomen with brown in the central portion, the thorax is brownish with a white stripe between the wings. The female has a yellow abdomen with black stripes, but also has the white stripe between the wings (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/151...).
Savanna/woodland
Occasionally seen in Mlawula Nature Reserve, in woodland areas as well as by streams and rivers.
