Newly eclosed Valley Carpenter Bee (Female)

Description:

Is this bee newly eclosed? It has been trying to take off and it is a little cold today. There is Valley Carpenter bee activity going on in the apple tree. Last year I had seen a newly eclosed Male Carpenter bees.
