Description:

Approx. 17mm in length with a broad yellow stripe running centrally down it's back. Two prongs, the foreward prong much more pronounced than the rear with a red stripe on the side of each body segment. Covered with rather long hairs to the front and rear and while feeding attaches itself to the leaf with a fine silk "hammock".

Habitat:

Found on a pear tree, south facing.
