Greasewood

Sarcobatus vermiculatus

Notes:

This plant was collected on the Lewis and clark expedition for further study. The sample they took is on display in the Lewis and Clark herbarium in Philadelphia. In the past a infusion of greasewood plant parts would be made for help with insect bites and toothaches.
