Description:

Large (about 1.3 cm) black ant with silvery markings. Hunting alone along a bamboo fence in the Zoomat above Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico at about 350 meters elevation.

Habitat:

The Zoomat is in a natural forest area above the City.

Notes:

These are aggressive and have a nasty sting.
