Nile Acacia

Acacia nilotica

Description:

A small tree with dark green leaves and pods that resemble giant pea pods. The pods have white flesh inside that surround the seeds. The tree was planted by the city. I don't think it is a California native, possibly from somewhere more tropical.

Habitat:

City Park
