American Green Tree Frog

Dryophytes cinereus

Description:

Though it looks like its eyes are open, I think it actually was sleeping and what you are seeing is actually the nictitating membrane over its eye. These frogs have a distinctive unbroken white line going down the side of its body.

Habitat:

Potted Canna Lily plant at a campground near lots of pine trees. I have noticed that canna lilies are a favorite of these frogs to rest on.
