MOLLUSC, LEOPARD SLUG: Two adults mating on sidewalk in morning.

Habitat:

20th century homes and private sidewalks have subterranean hollows that serve as collection points for decaying plant material (e.g. detritus) and provide overwintering sites for leopard slugs .

Notes:

Location: South Bend, Indiana. Individual slugs have both Female and Male reproductive organs.
