Description:

The Green burgundy stink bug is a shield bug with distinctive markings, patterns, and colors. Measures 8.5-11.0 mm.

Habitat:

Spotted in a mixed open forest. Found on a young alder tree leaf that it had been eating on (pic3). Eastern Washington (Elev. 2200ft).

Notes:

Banasa is a genus of plant feeding stink bugs in the family Pentatomidae.
