Pink Cutworm

Agrotis munda

Description:

I uploaded the pink caterpillar in pic #3 yesterday. Now I find its shed skin surrounded by webbing with black dots underneath that may be even faecal matter, I'm not sure. I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this?

Cool. Thank you for your help :)

I do not know if this helps but I have found my caterpillars under-leaves cover by some type of web, makes me believe, that is what they do before they become whatever they are going to be.
