Description:

Is a mammal of the order Xenarthra (formerly called Edentata or toothless), the same as armadillos and anteaters, belonging to the family Bradypodidae (three-fingered sloths) or Megalonychidae (sloths with two fingers).

Habitat:

Of solitary habits, laziness has, as a defense, his camouflage and his claws. For food, laziness makes use of "teeth" that are presented in the form of a small saw. Herbivore, have eating habits restricted, making it difficult to maintain them in captivity. Sleep about fourteen hours a day, also hanging in the trees. In playback, gives only a cub. Only the female takes care of the puppy. Everything have her do is in the treetops. Rarely descends to the ground, just about every seven days to make their physiological needs. Their main predator is the jaguar.
