Hola Luis. Esta es una abeja de la miel comun (Common Honeybee), seguramente Africanizada. No es correcto llamarla abeja mielera Americana puesto que Apis melífera viene de Africa (Africanas) o Europa (Europeas).
Las verdaderas abejas de la miel americanas fueron las abejas Maya, que fueron utilizados por los indígenas desde hace miles de años.
