American grass spider

Agelenopsis sp.

Description:

Small brownish-gray garden spider spotted in the grass. Note that I am not good at identifying arthropods, so this may not actually be an Agelenopsis species.

Habitat:

Grassy areas near rocks.

Notes:

It was hiding under rocks. A whole bunch of them were nearby, and they all scuttled around the rocks at high speeds. It was difficult to get a photo.
