Description:

Three little ducks, one adult and its offspring.

Habitat:

Small pool next to an oil well.

Notes:

In this region of Veracruz State, Mexico, the landscape is composed by orange crop fields and oil wells amongs oranges trees. there are lots of small pools, most of them made by ranchers. However, they are important habitats for resident and migratory birds.
