Prunus angustifolia
The leaves were not alternate as they would be with Prunus umbellata and it was blooming early, which is why I settled on Prunus angustifolia. However, the leaves look a little more drastically serrated (photo 4) than I thought Prunus angustifolia would be, but nonetheless P. angustifolia does have slight serrations. There is also the possibility of hybridization, which the two species readily do. Photo 4 shows the flower after the petals have dropped.
