Thank you AfriBats. I resized the photos up to 300%, but unfortunately they are too pixellised to distinguish any noseleaf. But maybe you have better material than I do, so I take your word for it. Do have any idea what species it can be, blackish like that and with no tail protruding from the skin?

Hi Emilie, I'm 100% sure this is a phyllostomid bat. Have a look at your pics in high resolution and you'll discover the characteristic noseleaf.

Thanks AfriBats. This time I don't think so, this little bat has no leaf on the nose, which makes me think it is a Vespertilionidae. On the other hand, I could be wrong about the species. What do you think?
