Red/orange head with shiny blue/violet body. Wings are opaque and dusty tan colored. Not sure if this is even a moth?
It was in chaparral landing on wild mustard flowers.
Erebidae, Arctiinae, Arctiini, Ctenuchina, Ctenucha brunnea.
