Description:

A large dragonfly characterized by the black saddles on the clear wings. Brown head and a dark abdomen with two yellow spots dorsally on the middle segments.

Habitat:

Spotted in Deep Lake in eastern Washington.

Notes:

Still alive but was unable to find any vegetation to help pull itself out of the water.
