Nymphaea violacea
This beautiful Blue Lily has a long tube-like stem on which a flower with shades of blue, violet or white sit atop. Large leaves on the water are green with scalloped edges and a V shape at one end.
Pic 3 shows the habitat which is a a permanent spring-fed creek (Fern Creek) along the Gibb River Road.
