Ebony Jewel-Winged Damselfly

Description:

appears to be some sort of damsel fly, I think. mostly black, brown with some iridescent blues and greens. approximately 2-3 inches in length.

Habitat:

Central Virginia hardwood forest--perched by a small stream.
