Description:

This is a queen alate which means a young queen ant with wings. The wings are removed once they start their colonies. The queens measuring 15-17 mm and are reddish brown in color. They have strong bite, and the workers can carve numerous tunnels inside wood.

Habitat:

In the garden of a cold spring resort. On the railing after dark.
