Terrapin?

Habitat:

spotted in a man-made residential lake close to the Indian River Lagoon

Notes:

I think this may be an east coast diamondback, Malaclemys terrapin tequesta. http://www.empireoftheturtle.com/Florida...

I also think that it is a red-eared slider and a male. They males have long claws and older ones can be so darkly colored that you can't see the red splotch on the head.

That could be the case, Kyle. I was considering the lack of yellow markings on the legs, no apparent red ear, and what appears to be a 'moustache' typical in terrapins. I'm going to revisit this lake (it's very small) in hopes of seeing the turtle again. Appreciate your help.
