Description:

Low growing plant with bright green foliage. Trifoliate leaves that slightly resemble poison ivy (and are often confused for it). Distinctive flowers are produced singly. These plants are not self pollinating.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Pocahontas State Park, Virginia.
