Carposcalis Syrphidae

Carposcalis sp.

Description:

Family: Syrphidae

Habitat:

Bushes on a hill.

Notes:

The larvae of this species eat aphids.
Syrphids are hard to ID, specially because of the little documentation on them, I was thrilled to find a document with keys for identifying 6 species found here.
