Description:

Endemic fish of Hawaii, small tan coloured with darker spots which form 4 or 5 vertical bars. Grows to 4 inches.

Habitat:

Feeds on corals, especially cauliflower and lobe coral, and minimizes damage to its food source by nibbling here and there and moving on to other areas. Form tight pair bonds and are usually seen in pairs like in this spotting.
