Description:

Represents Old World Monkeys .It has Upper dark gray body with lighter colored lower body . It has black face with black colored Ear Pinna. It has long limbs and tail. Also known as Lesser hill langur due to found in foothills of Himalayas . Also as Tarai Gray Langur .

Habitat:

Range is from Northern India (Uttaranchal , Uttar Pardesh, west bengal ) to Bhutan .

Notes:

Lists as Near Threatened Species according to IUCN Red List of Threatened Species 2012.2 due to presence of less then 10,000 mature individuals .
