Hippocampus bargibanti
To 2 cm (3/4 in.) in size. Tiny, pinkish with large orange to red warts and spots. Encircling bands on tail. Solitary or in small groups in sea fans of similar color (Muricella spp.).
Reefs and slopes in 10-40 m. Asian Pacific.
Only few shots are allowed. The seahorse is very sensitive to flash lights and immediately turns its back to it.

It is true and you have no idea how difficult is to take a decent pic of this tiny sea horse. Its size is the tip of a persons´ finger and in the moment he notices one flash he moves and literally gives you the cold shoulder! ...On top of that, right after my first two trials, water entered my camera case and drowned it (again, my third time for this to happen). Thank God my hubbie had another camera this time that we could share for the rest of the still half-way going trip to Philippines! :-)
