Gum Leafhopper

Eurymeloides sp

Description:

Small hopper about 8mm long. Head and eyes were red in colour. Wings black with cream and white bands running diagonally down each side. Nymphs had red heads and thorax and black abdomen. These hoppers and nymphs were attended by small black ants.

Habitat:

eucalytpus tree - ? species

Notes:

not sure of the species.
