Someone asked if the pics of the octopus were on the same day. No they weren't, they were about a week apart. They are all of the same species though, and all taken in relatively the same location.

How can anyone describe this colorful octopus as gloomy? Hopefully it will brighten your day Kerryn, as it has earned you spotting of the day!
Considered the most intelligent of all invertebrates, the octopus also has three hearts; two pump blood through the gills whereas the third one pumps blood through rest of the body.
