Description:

Photo take at - 40 ft on a coral reef this one is moving very close to a flatten rock to hide when i find it, around 10 cm diameter this urchin is common in all the Caribbean.

Habitat:

From the United States to Brazil on the west to Mauritania to Gabon on the east, the slate pencil urchin can be found on both sides of the Atlantic, at the mid-Atlantic ridge and throughout the Caribbean.[
