If this is Algona sp, then it is highly imperiled. It had a conspicuous white lip. Was found in a dry forest kind of setting.

Hema, try checking this list: https://www.inaturalist.org/check_lists/... I think it resembles the Haplotrema snails but there are a few on that list that also look close.

This really looks like the Idaho Forest snail to me".Allogona ptychophora" But Mt Diablo does not fall into that range.
