Description:

3-8 inches tall, flaky and soft to the touch. Most clusters already undergoing auto-digestion. Nice texture cooked, flavor was rich though undistinctive.

Habitat:

Clustered in short stretch of conifers by heritage park lake, about one every 100 square foot.

Notes:

When foraged, must be prepared immediately or caps will autodigest. Cooking & freezing may halt process, though difficult to impossible to dry.
