Leaf-mimic katydid (female)

Mimetica spp.

Habitat:

Forest

Notes:

I was out with a group, looking for bushmasters, when I noticed this outstanding katydid overhead. Her antennae were ridiculously long and her body shape was amazing.

The color of the insect of the link is very different, so is not the same specie, but they are inmatures of the same genus
