I'm not sure that is a coyote because wolves are larger than that prob a hybrid or a juvenile

Nice spotting Candice!
Hemma, northern Coyotes are larger and more wolf-like in behavior (like hunting in packs) and looks than their more southern brothers and sisters. It is believed that Coyotes and Wolves interbred so these Coyotes show traits of both. This one is in a lovely full winter coat.

I'm not sure. I haven't heard of any coyote hybrids in the Banff/Canmore region and wildlife is very closely monitored in this area.
