Blow Fly

Description:

Gray and black fly with clear wings. The abdomen has a blotched gray pattern on it and stiff hairs. Unfortunately this is the only image I was able to get of this one.

Habitat:

Avocado leaf in the backyard.

I think this is actually a blow fly, family Calliphoridae.
