Not sure what that is, but it looks like it's ready to pupate. Reminds me a lot of the wandering form of Manduca sexta - they get fat, their colour changes a bit, and a dark, pulsating line appears on the dorsal side. Might be another type of hawk moth (Sphingidae) - don't know what species you have in your area.
