Aka Spanish Needles, Romerillo, Common Beggar's-tick, Hairy Beggarticks, Cobbler's Pegs. Great attractor of butterflies.
Thank you Pam and tp91395! I've been fortunate to avoid contact with this plant but can imagine my feelings toward it when it is stabbing me through my pants :)
These weeds are amazing. But it is another story when they are in you cloths.
