Echidna

Description:

It has a medium-sized, stocky body, small head with long snout, sharp spines on back and sides and it is very strong It can weigh 2-7kg and as long as 30-40 cm

Habitat:

The Echidna is very adaptable it can range from hot arid interior (Simpson desert) to above the snow line in alpine regions. Flat scrub with sand and tussock to steep Rocky Mountain country
