Description:

The larvae are gregarious up to 24 individuals, rest and eat by the underside of the leaves. They have grayish brown body with small bushy black bumps. The adults visit flowers of Lantana camera watch Colubrina spinosa, Hamelia patens, Casearia sylvestris and Croton billbergianus.------------------------------------ Las larvas son gregarias hasta 24 individuos, descansan y comen por el envés de las hojas. Tienen el cuerpo café grisáceo con pequeñas protuberancias tupidas de color negro. Los adultos visitan las flores de Colubrina spinosa, Lantana Camara, Hamelia patens, Casearia sylvestris y Croton billbergianus.

Habitat:

Forest edges, clear, margins of creeks, trails within the forest and abandoned logging trails. It is found from Mexico to Brazil.------------------------------------- Bordes de bosque, claros, márgenes de quebradas, senderos dentro del bosque y trochas madereras abandonadas. Se encuentra desde México hasta Brasil.
