Description:

Small, slender beetle with distinctive pattern of pale markings on elytra (wing covers).

Habitat:

Found at night eating oozing sap from a tree branch. Habitat is mostly scrub and deciduous forest in floodplain of the Rio Grande River.

Notes:

The range of this species is restricted to southern Texas (in North America).
