The Wikipedia cattle egret article has several images in both breeding and non-breeding plumage. Non-breeding Bubulcus ibis and Ardea alba look somewhat alike but adults of the great egret are twice as large as cattle egret. I don't know but if you look at neck (play around with contrast) and upper leg (second photo), these look longer than a cattle egret...
Namitha,judging from the size this does seem to be a cattle egret.The wikipedia probably has a picture of the cattle egret in its breeding plumage. This is a cattle egret in its non breeding plumage.

Yeah,The neck and leg looks longer than in cattle egret. That's why I was confused.
