Queen Anne's Lace grows on a single stiff stem with a deep taproot. It has a flowering head with flat white clustered umbels and often has a central red/purple flower that is used to attract insects.

I wish I could capture the amazing smell of a meadow full of Queen Anne's lace! This plant had a particularly pretty arrangement of flowers!
