Spiny assassin bug

Description:

This spiny assassin bug nymph caught a halictid bee snack. I watched this little guy grow up to adulthood. He lived in the square meter patch of "yard" outside my condo which I planted with mostly native wildflowers. Attracts a lot of creatures, but this is one of my favorites.
